Our interim manager has joined a production facility in Moravia to help the company ensure smooth production planning operations and streamline manufacturing processes. The company currently lacks an experienced employee to cover this area.
The negotiations were very swift – the inquiry came on Thursday and we sent the first candidate’s CV that same day. The next day, Friday, we sent the second candidate’s CV as well. The interview took place the following Tuesday and the decision was YES on Thursday! The entire selection process took only 5 working days and 7 working days until start. Moreover, the manager lives 20 km from the facility, so the client does not need to pay travel or accommodation costs.
Production Facility in Moravia
The facility operates seven production lines working in a 5/7 regime – five days a week in three shifts. Approximately 40 employees work on each line, together producing an incredible 4 million units monthly. They manufacture a wide range of products of various types and packaging, which places high demands on production planning and coordination.
Current Situation
Following the departure of the senior planning manager who worked here for 10 years, the company faces the challenge of finding a suitable replacement. Unfortunately, his successor is from the junior ranks and there is currently no one in this key position.
Support and First Step
The first step for our interim manager will be to ensure operational planning so that production can continue without interruption and at the required quality.
Long-term Plans
The second step will be establishing a new planning system across the entire factory. This system will enable us to utilize resources more efficiently, reduce waste, and increase productivity. This includes selecting an appropriate system, assisting with the selection of suitable employees, and their training.
Project Duration
We expect the interim manager to work in this position for approximately six months, with the possibility of extension depending on achieved results and client needs.
