A new interim manager specializing in supply quality assurance (Supplier Quality Engineer – SQE) has joined our client. The new interim will be responsible for implementing supplier quality for materials and components, as well as optimizing the entire supply chain. The uniqueness of this project lies in the fact that we are in the pre-series phase, which means we are establishing all processes and standards completely from the ground up.

- Evaluates and approves suppliers: Ensures that suppliers meet our high quality standards, which is particularly important in this phase of the project when the entire supply chain is being formed.
-
Controls deliveries: Compares received materials and components with client specifications to guarantee their quality.
-
Analyzes defective parts: Resolves cases of non-conformance and seeks root causes of problems.
-
Implements corrective measures: Collaborates with suppliers to eliminate problems and ensure they do not recur.
-
Conducts audits: Participates in supplier audits and monitors compliance with standards.
-
Optimizes processes: Proposes improvements that increase quality and efficiency of the entire supply chain.
Project Specifics
This project is exceptional in both its complexity and opportunity. The client is in a phase where everything is still in its infancy – from supplier selection through establishing control mechanisms to building collaboration across internal and external teams. In this phase, it is crucial to establish processes that meet not only current needs but also future requirements of serial production.
What We Will Focus On
The goal of this interim project is not only to strengthen delivery quality but also to create solid foundations for future serial production.
We are keeping our fingers crossed for our colleague and look forward to another completed task!
